poem for marriage

As the tears slowly fall like water flowing in a stream,
And the smiles slowly form,
like the rising of the sun for a bright new day,
This is unison of two souls, of two blessed and joyous soulsTwo oceans have now merged,
No longer apart,
they flow together,
As they encounter the course of the sea,
Whether it be rough whether their flow is obstructed by stones, by rock or pebbles,
They bear it all with patience,
For this is a new life, a new journey,
Their pathway is one, their goal is one and their destination is one,
They silently pray and hope that their pathways are smooth,filled with the light of the sun,
Illuminated with hope and happiness,
Scented with love, care and affection,
Filled with patience and understanding,
So we pray for them,
As we do for ourselves,
We pray for their happiness and success in all that they do,
We pray for their happiness and patience through and through,
We pray that the sun continues to forever shine in their way,
And that the rays of Allah’s mercy and compassion continues to enshroud them as they pray
